Mountains 2020, 23-27 Nov. Cabo Verde

Organizing Mountains 2020 in the Atlantic archipelago of Cabo Verde, a group of mountainous islands, creates an extraordinary opportunity to link scientists and stakeholders concerned with mountains and islands and consider how to jointly tackle threats and challenges for their sustainable development. Mountains 2020 is directed towards academia, research institutions, enterprises, conservation and development agencies, governmental institutions and non-governmental organizations. Continuing the series from Mountains 2016 and Mountains 2018, in addition to being a worldwide event, Mountains 2020 will have a particular emphasis on mountain research in Portuguese-speaking countries.
